Refund policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Grunchyshop at grunchyshop.com. Grunchyshop is a brand operated by Henriikka Creative Oy.

1. Our 30-day return policy

We offer a 30-day return period beginning on the day after you receive your order.

This voluntary 30-day return policy is provided in addition to your statutory rights under applicable consumer law. It does not limit or replace your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

For orders containing multiple products delivered separately, the return period begins on the day after you receive the final product included in the order.

2. Statutory 14-day right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal by:

• using our electronic withdrawal function: LINKKI;

• emailing us at info@grunchyshop.com; or

• sending us the model withdrawal form provided at the end of this policy.

Your withdrawal notification must clearly state that you wish to withdraw from the purchase and include sufficient information to identify you and the relevant order.

It is sufficient that you submit your withdrawal notification before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.

We will confirm receipt of a withdrawal submitted through our electronic withdrawal function by email without undue delay.

Merely returning a product or failing to collect a parcel does not constitute a valid withdrawal notification.

3. Returning the products

After notifying us of your withdrawal or return, you must send the products back within 14 days.

Please contact us at info@grunchyshop.com before sending the products so that we can provide a prepaid return label and return instructions.

Eligible returns are free of charge. We pay the direct cost of returning the products when you use the return method and prepaid return label provided by us.

Please do not send returns by cash on delivery.

Products returned without sufficient order information may take longer to process. Contacting us in advance does not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal, provided that you submit a valid withdrawal notification within the applicable period.

4. Condition of products during the first 14 days

During the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, you may inspect and handle a product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would be permitted to inspect it in a physical shop.

You are responsible for any reduction in the product’s value resulting from handling that goes beyond what is necessary for this purpose.

The absence of the original packaging or detached product tags does not automatically remove your statutory right of withdrawal. However, the condition of the product and missing packaging or accessories may be taken into account when assessing any reduction in value.

5. Conditions for voluntary returns between days 15 and 30

For returns initiated after the statutory 14-day period but no later than 30 days after receipt, the product must be:

• unused and unworn;

• unwashed;

• in resalable condition;

• returned with all original product tags attached;

• returned with all accessories and components;

• returned in its original packaging.

We may refuse a voluntary return made between days 15 and 30 if these conditions are not met. This does not affect any rights you may have regarding defective or non-conforming products.

6. Refunds

When you validly withdraw from or return an entire order, we will refund:

• the price paid for the returned products; and

• the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.

If you selected a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery method, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded.

The same refund terms apply to returns made under our voluntary 30-day return policy.

We will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal or return notification.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned products or you have provided evidence that the products have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless you expressly agree to another method. We do not charge a fee for the refund.

After we have issued the refund, your bank, card issuer or payment service provider may require additional time to display the payment in your account.

7. Partial returns

If you return only part of an order, we will refund the price paid for the returned products.

Original delivery costs are not normally refunded for a partial return if the delivery cost would have been the same had you purchased only the products you keep. This does not limit any mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer law.

8. Sale products

Sale and discounted products are covered by the same statutory right of withdrawal as regularly priced products.

Eligible sale products may also be returned under our voluntary 30-day return policy subject to the conditions set out above.

9. Electronic gift cards

Grunchyshop gift cards are electronic gift cards delivered by email. Gift cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.

An unused gift card purchased online may be cancelled within the statutory 14-day withdrawal period. To cancel an unused gift card, contact info@grunchyshop.com.

A gift card cannot be cancelled or refunded after it has been used, except where otherwise required by mandatory law.

Our voluntary return period from day 15 to day 30 does not apply to gift cards.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by applicable law. If the value of an order is lower than the available gift card balance, the remaining balance may be used for later purchases during the gift card’s validity period.

10. Exchanges

We do not process direct product exchanges.

To receive a different product, colour or model, return the original product in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.

11. Defective, damaged or incorrect products

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us at info@grunchyshop.com as soon as reasonably possible if:

• the product is defective;

• the product was damaged during delivery;

• you received the wrong product; 

• the product does not otherwise conform to the sales contract.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs showing the issue.

Defective and non-conforming products are covered by the statutory remedies provided by applicable consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract and a refund.

We cover the reasonable costs of returning a defective, damaged or incorrect product.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.

12. Uncollected parcels

Failing to collect a parcel does not constitute a valid withdrawal from the purchase.

If an uncollected parcel is returned to us, we may charge or deduct the actual and reasonable costs caused by the unsuccessful delivery and return shipment.

If you ask us to send the parcel again, you must pay the actual cost of the new delivery before the parcel is resent.

These charges do not apply where the failure to collect the parcel was caused by us or the carrier, or where charging the costs would otherwise be contrary to mandatory consumer law.
