Breakaway Clasp & How to Use

The breakaway clasp is an optional feature built into the Grunchy lanyard.

Under normal use, the clasp keeps the lanyard connected. If the lanyard is exposed to sufficiently strong pulling force, the clasp is designed to separate — this may help reduce the risk of the lanyard remaining tightly caught around the wearer.

The clasp can then be reconnected by pressing the two parts back together. To keep the mechanism working reliably, avoid opening it unnecessarily during everyday use.

You can select the breakaway clasp option on the product page before adding your Grunchy to the cart. It is integrated into the finished product and cannot be added afterwards.
